Christmas support for the foundation

December at Dalpo can certainly be called the month of giving, as six (!) CSR initiatives were launched. Each week, a pre-selected charity was supported, thus creating a special Advent calendar filled with kindness.

Support for young athletes from Szamotuły

With the beginning of December, the company supported the Szamotulanin Sports Club by donating several cartons of tape for marking out pitch lines. We are pleased that Dalpo can support sporting passions among children and young people. Thanks to the support, the young athletes have gained a ‘refreshed’ pitch.

Santa gifts for children in paediatric wards

For every child, 6 December is a magical time during which they eagerly await a present from Father Christmas. Unfortunately, the festive period is not special for all children. Bearing in mind the little ones who spend Santa Claus in hospital wards, Dalpo decided to donate PLN 3,500 to the Prekursor.Art Foundation to buy gifts. Thanks to the funds, small patients of the W.Dega Provincial Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Clinical Hospital received gifts consisting of books, colouring books, sweets and small toys.

 

Warning foil for the fire brigade

At the end of November, the Lisowice Volunteer Fire Brigade put out a request to donate several rolls of warning film. Realising the responsibility that rests on the shoulders of the Voluntary Fire Brigade, it was immediately decided to donate 27 rolls of warning film to be used during firefighting operations. The commitment and responsibility of volunteer firefighters keeps us safe, so it is worth helping!

Christmas parcel

Once again, all Dalpo employees got involved in the preparation of the “Szlachetna Paczka”. The willingness to help those in need exceeded our wildest expectations, thanks to which we gave presents to as many as 3 needy families! The entire Dalpo team showed a great deal of heart, both during the collection of items for boxes in individual locations, and during the drop-off where we managed to collect as much as PLN 2485 from voluntary contributions. The initiative to create a noble parcel was supported in particular by Dalpo’s management board, which allocated as much as PLN 10 000 for this purpose!

Gifts for children from the Gramy do Końca foundation

The economic crisis is leading to a difficult situation, which means that not all children will find the presents they dream of under the Christmas tree this year. The charges of the Play to End Foundation come from poor families or orphanages with insufficient funds for Christmas presents. Dalpo’s board decided to support the foundation with PLN 5,000, and 65 gift packs were purchased with the donated amount.

Organising the Christmas Gala

Every child dreams of meeting the Christmas star. Before Christmas, Dalpo sponsored the Christmas Gala “Gwiazdka z Fantazją” (“Christmas with Fantasy”), donating PLN 5 000 to organise a Christmas party for 300 sick children from all over Poland and 100 needy children from Ukraine. All the children present at the event had the opportunity to meet Father Christmas in person, who presented them with presents. In addition to organising the gala, the foundation donated 600 presents for children in very difficult financial situations.
